Humberto Campana’s new solo show On the Road, which opened at Friedman Benda this week, marks a turning point in the life and career of the 71-year-old Brazilian designer. Much has happened to us all since the pandemic began, but to him, it is the experience of loss and spirituality, which he captured in this show.
