Hosted by design curator and critic Daniella Ohad, this program connects you to the world of design through in-person visits to exhibitions in museums, galleries, and auction houses; private studios; interiors; architecture, where we meet curators, interior designers, architects, directors, artists, and collectors. Celebrating its 19th anniversary this fall ‘Design in New York City’ comes to celebrate the culture of design in an intimate, private settings, while educating the participants on how to look and interpret design and architecture, and how to take their taste to new horizons. For the past 38 seasons, we have met some of the most brilliant figures in design, while allowing to engage directly with objects, exploring them through the lens of various insights and viewpoints.

About the Instructor
Daniella Ohad received her Ph.D. from Bard Graduate Center for Studies in the Decorative Arts, Design and Culture. She lectures and publishes widely on design history, theory, and the decorative arts. She has taught at Parsons the New School for Design, Pratt Institute, and Bard College. She is a speaker on topics in design, collecting, and taste worldwide.
